Concierge Behavior Therapy ~ Certified PCIT Providers offers families with exceptional therapeutic support, by providing high quality and evidenced-based treatment that you can access from the comfort of your own home. Our concierge services will allow your family to access care tailored to your unique needs and flexible around your schedule and demands. Psychologists are available to you for consultation and support in-between scheduled sessions. No insurance records means no concerns about violations to privacy. Via our concierge behavior therapy model, families are provided virtual therapy, while strengthening parent-child relationships and reducing stressors associated with parenting a child with difficult behaviors.
Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is a cutting-edge, short-term therapy approach proven to better child behavior and enhance parent-child relationships with long-term results. Only Certified PCIT Therapists, as recognized by PCIT International, are able to offer this exclusive evidence-based service.
Personalized service for our clients is the distinctive feature of our concierge practice. While the foundation of all PCIT services is evidence-based, no two families are treated the same. Services are customized and tailored to meet each individual family's specific needs.
Through a small and intimate practice, families are provided with excellent care and receive 100% from their therapist. Families involved in treatment have direct access to their therapist and can expect prompt and timely responses to questions that arise in-between scheduled sessions.
PCIT is an evidence-based, short-term treatment program for young children with behavioral problems. By participating in treatment, parents strengthen attachment with their children and learn effective discipline skills; meanwhile, child behavior improves. PCIT is conducted through weekly "coaching" sessions, during which parents practice new skills with their child while the therapist observes and provides guidance.
Children ages 2 to 8 who display challenging behaviors are ideal candidates for PCIT. At minimum, one parent must consistently attend all sessions. For optimal results, all caregivers are encouraged to participate.
With consistent attendance and homework completion, PCIT can be completed within 12-20 sessions, on average, until parents master skills and rate their child's behavior within normal limits on a behavior rating scale.
PCIT will teach you to manage your child’s difficult behaviors, while improving your child’s good behaviors and having fun! PCIT can also help you reduce some of the typical parenting stressors.
Our goal is to help you enhance your relationship with your child and improve your child’s behaviors. Through involvement in PCIT, you will be coached to achieve mastery with specific skills that will allow you to strengthen your attachment and teach you effective discipline strategies.
